David O. Johnson

PRESIDENT

David O. Johnson, MSc (App), BSc (App), has over 30 years in process development and design.  He first spent 13 years with a major multinational aluminum company in engineering and process design. He “graduated” to higher risk, start-up ventures, and, for the last 15 years, has been a serial entrepreneur in technology driven projects. He has consulted extensively for SGS Canada, and worked on over 40 pilot plants for clients on five continents. David was a founder of Argento Plata Metals Ltd. (a metal recycling company), Quantoxbury Technology Group Ltd. (a technology development and implementation partnership), and Alcereco Inc. (a materials science and process technology development company).

Dr. Florina Truica

CHIEF TECHNICAL OFFICER

Dr. Florina Truica is a scientist and engineer with over 25 years of experience in plasma and radiation science, advanced manufacturing, surface sciences and engineering, and nanotechnologies. She is the author of over 44 papers published in peer-reviewed journals and conference proceedings, and of several patents or patent applications. Prior to founding Cold Plasma Group, she was Senior Scientist and Director of Technology for Grafoid Inc., Alcereco Inc., and Novelis Inc. developing new and radical products as well as advanced manufacturing processes.  Her long-life passion is the development and commercial scale-up of innovative, eco-friendly, and cost-effective technologies and products.
